BVIM secures capital commitment of $42 million in Vietnam Investment Fund II (VIF-II), an offshore U.S. dollar denominated fund.
Vietnam Partners founds Indochina Automotive to engage in automotive distribution and service in Vietnam.
VIF-I and VIF-II are fully invested in 27 companies, of which six have already been liquidated. Major investments include Vinasun, Exim Bank, FPT and Minh Phu. Indochina Automotive acquires exclusive distribution rights for Ducati in Vietnam.
