BACKGROUND.

Bradley Lalonde, the Founder of Vietnam Partners LLC and a Member of the Board overseeing fund management, has been deeply involved in Vietnam’s economic development for over three decades. His journey began in 1994 when he became Citibank’s first country head, establishing branches in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and playing a key role in founding the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. Mr. Lalonde actively advocated for the normalization of US-Vietnam relations, testifying before the US Congress in the mid-1990s.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lalonde has demonstrated a commitment to Vietnam’s growth, investing over US $150 million in various private companies through Vietnam Partners. He also served as the first CIO of BVIM, the fund management company, overseeing portfolio development. Mr. Lalonde’s expertise extends beyond finance, having served on numerous boards, including the US ASEAN Business Council, the Hanoi School of Business Advisory Council, Rikkeisoft/ RKTech Corp., CMC Global and Northann Corp., etc.

Mr. Lalonde holds advanced degrees in Politics & Economics from the University of Michigan and Columbia University. His personal interests align with his professional pursuits, focusing on education, entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and innovative solutions to global challenges.
